To win their fourth NBA championship in eight years, the Warriors swept the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. After scoring 21-0 in the first quarter and the beginning of the second, Golden State was able to build a lead that was too big for Boston in a 103-90 win.
Among five Warriors in double figures, Stephen Curry scored 34. There was no “Game 6 Klay” Thompson (12 points on 20 shots), but Golden State got 18 points from Andrew Wiggins, 15 from Jordan Poole off the bench, and 12 from Draymond Green, which stunted Boston’s Cinderella season bid.
